East Haven Farmer’s Market Extended

The late growing season this year has prompted the East Haven Farmer’s Market to extend its run, each Sunday from 8:30 a.m. until noon through Oct. 15 at the town hall parking lot. Originally slated to end in September, the market, managed by Carolyn Bradley of Borrelli Farm in Northford, offers Connecticut grown farm products and Connecticut-made products. Vendors are required to produce a “traceable point of origin” within the state. This year’s vendors include Borrelli Farm, Vaiuso Farms, DiSorbo’s Bakery, Jewels by Laura, Jackie Sargent, and Erika’s Boutique. And they are still seeking additional vendors. To find out more, contact Bradley at 203-710-2760 or dinaglide2000@yahoo.com.
