Spectrum Gallery Hosts New Show

Spectrum Gallery and Fine Artisans Store of Centerbrook presents a six-week exhibition of paintings, photography, and mixed media works in its 2017 Autumn Arts Festival Gallery Show, with an opening reception featuring wine and refreshments Friday, Sept. 22 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The show at the gallery at 61 Main Street, Centerbrook, will run through Sunday, Nov. 5.

The gallery will showcase new work by artists who are participating in the Autumn Arts Festival on the Madison Connecticut Town Green, Columbus Day Weekend, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 7 and 8.

Original works by fine artists both new to the gallery as well as returning favorites are available. In addition to the gallery, Spectrum offers an ever-changing variety of fine crafts in mediums such as ceramics, fabric, wood, paper, jewelry, and more in its store. Spectrum Gallery and Store is open Wednesday through Saturday noon to 6 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. The gallery is an expansion of the non-profit arts organization Arts Center Killingworth, which offers classes, workshops, and camps, and whose mission is to provide opportunities for emerging and established artists to develop, display, and sell their work.
