For those who wonder, “Is this all there is to my life?” indecisiveness and a lack of self confidence can contribute to feelings of not being enough, says Pamela DeLise, an author scheduled to speak at an upcoming session of the Madison Happiness Club.

“Fear can create what feels like insurmountable barriers to moving forward in life, having a positive attitude, and exploring the possibilities for a joyful life. Fear causes you to deny your true self,” she says. “You never learn to accept who you are, what makes you happy, and how to live the life you are meant to live.”

DeLise says she will talk about another way to see fear.

“Fear does not have to be the enemy, but can be an indicator for self-growth. When you discover how fear is showing up in your life, you can make different choices and live life from a place of self-acceptance. It is then that you are free to experience peace, joy, and happiness,” she says.

In this talk, DeLise says she will share a unique process to identify how fear plays out in people’s lives and keeps them stuck.

She also hopes to leave attendees with options for creating a new direction in their lives.

DeLise made the decision to leave a successful corporate human resources career working for a global, billion dollar healthcare company to pursue her dream of supporting others to live more fulfilling lives. She founded Cardinal Rules Consulting, a coaching and consulting practice to empower others to step into their courage, face the fear that keeps them stuck, and create the life they dream of, one of peace, joy, and freedom. She is a certified professional coach, certified energy leadership master practioner, a member of the International Coaching Federation and on the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Chapter of the International Coach Federation. DeLise resides in Branford.

The Madison Happiness club will meet on Wednesday Aug. 30, 7 p.m., at Scranton Memorial Library, 801 Boston Post Road, Madison. It is free and open to all. For more information contact Tina Garrity at ting45@aol.com.
