A Delicious Bight

Bight is a nautical term for a curve in a coastline, and it’s also the name of a restaurant at the Guilford Yacht Club at 379 New Whitfield Street in Guilford. It recently opened up to invited guests for lunch and brunch. Upon being invited by my friend Michele, I ate with a group that enjoyed the lobster BLT, fish tacos, and a lobster and corn salad. All were delicious. And those views with a nice breeze? Unreal. The restaurant is planning to open up for the public entirely for the 2018 season. Until then, you just need to be invited by a Guilford Yacht Club member, but the member does not need to be with you when you go. Here’s more information about the brunch menu: gyc.com.
