Wondering what to eat this coming weekend? Wonder no more. The 16th annual PoCo Fest is being celebrated in North Branford. Also known as the North Branford Potato and Corn Festival, it runs from Friday, Aug. 4 to Sunday, Aug. 6 at Augur Field, Route 22 in North Branford. The three-day festival routinely attracts more than 25,000 people looking for fun and food, and, specifically, the perfectly cooked roasted corn and potatoes with all of the toppings. If corn and potatoes aren’t your thing, there will also be steak sandwiches, barbecue, stuffed gourmet pocket sandwiches, Thai food, fried dough, roast beef grinders, smoothies, lobster rolls, steamed cheeseburgers, kettle korn, pizza, gyros, chompers (fried stuffed crunchy balls of goodness), curly fries, regular French fries, and ice cream.
