Corking It and Forking It in Chester

Chester’s First Friday celebrations are continuing throughout the summer and into the fall, with a Little Night Music on Friday, Aug. 4. That night will feature music throughout town by local musicians. Visitors are encouraged to bring their singing voices and dancing shoes. Then on Friday, Sept. 1, it will be a “Cork and Fork” night. The town’s restaurants, package stores, food and beverage purveyors, caterers, and chefs will offer “tasting and sips” at pop-up locations around town. Some will be free, some will be available for a fee. Stores will be open as well as the many restaurants in town for those who will want a bit more than a bit. From 5 to 7 p.m. both nights.
