Weather, Whether, Essex Art Association’s Summer Juried Show Starts July 28

Weather, Whether, the second juried show of the Essex Art Association (EAA) 2017 season, will open with a free public reception on Friday, July 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. The show runs through Saturday, Aug. 19. Monetary prizes totaling $1,900 will be awarded in addition to the Exit Gallery Award which offers the winning artist a solo exhibit in EAA’s Exit Gallery during the next gallery season.

The EAA Gallery is located at 10 North Main Street, Essex. Gallery hours are 1 to 5 p.m. daily, and the gallery is closed Tuesdays. For more information visit essexartassociation.com or call 860-767-8996.

The Exit Gallery show, Forever, showcases paintings by Pam Carlson. Carlson was born and raised in Darien, and she is the EAA vice president.
