Stony Creek Beer Company, 5 Indian Neck Road, Branford has teamed up with Ripe Juice in New Haven to come up with a “Ripe and Cranky” series of draft IPAs that are a blend of Stony Creek’s flagship Cranky IPA with fresh-pressed juice from Ripe Juice. “For this round we created RIPE and Cranky Passionfruit IPA. A smooth and clean malt base sets the stage for an explosion of fresh and clean tropical juice flavor and hop aroma. Citra, Idaho 7, and Azacca Hops lend fresh tropical notes highlighted by mango, apricot, passionfruit, and bright citrus that mingle brilliantly with fresh passion fruit juice from Ecuador,” Stony Creek Beer says on its website.
