Once and for All by Sarah Dessen

As a longtime Sarah Dessen reader, I eagerly anticipate any new book she writes, ready to head back to the now-familiar locales and characters of her heartfelt novels. The novel is set during a busy wedding season and I was immersed immediately into the world of vows and centerpieces and into the lives of Louna and her makeshift family, all cynical about love for their own reasons. When the charming but chaos-prone Ambrose enters their lives, everything gets a little less predictable. Grounded by the gravity of the tragic way Louna’s first (and epic) love ended, the book maintains a poignant depth through the seemingly lighthearted world of wedding planning.
