BBQ, BBQ, and More BBQ

Looking for even more barbecue ideas? First stop, your local bookstore.

Christine at the Griswold Inn Store, 47 Main Street, Essex recommends a book called Cin Cin, Wood-fired Cucina, by Andrew Richardson.

“This aptly named cookbook by chef Andrew Richardson is so much more than a barbecue book. Infused by his Italian-inspired Vancouver Restaurant, this book showcases the restaurant’s wood-oven cooking techniques, through delicious recipes and beautiful photographs,” she says.

The booksellers at R.J. Julia Booksellers, 768 Boston Post Road, Madison have set up a whole display with barbecue books, including Salt Block Grilling by Mark Bitterman, Grill Smoke BBQ by Ben Tish, Grill Fire by Lee Taylor, and Meathead: The Science of Great Barbecue and Grilling by Meathead Goldwyn.
