06/22/2017 12:01 AMWelcome to the Westbrook Coffee House, 1283 Boston Post Road, in Westbrook, which will celebrate its grand opening Saturday, June 24. Proprietor Denise Harvey, who lives in Madison, says they’ll be bringing in fresh pastries every morning from New York, and that they’ll be stocking Cohen’s Bagels, and Beach Donut donuts as well. But she says the hottest item on the menus is pretty cool: “our iced coffee with coffee ice cubes.” In the space once occupied by Katie’s Daily Grind, Harvey and her husband Joe gave both the coffee shop and the menu a makeover. The menu also will include ham and cheese croissants and fresh wraps daily for lunch. They’ll be open seven days a week and, in addition to the food and freshly brewed coffee, they’ll be offering a side of free WiFi.
