06/15/2017 12:01 AMVisitors of all ages are invited to American Waters, the Lyme Art Association’s summer exhibition of work by area maritime artists at The Lyme Art Association, 90 Lyme Street, Old Lyme. The show will be on view in the galleries from Friday, June 23 through Thursday, Aug. 25.
The exhibition will be juried by David Bareford, a fellow of the American Society of Marine artists.
Concurrent with the American Waters exhibition, the Lyme Art Association will present a smaller exhibition called The Artist’s Garden in the Goodman Gallery. Artwork will feature images of gardens, birds, and flowers.
The opening reception for both exhibitions will be Friday, June 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Lyme Art Association, 90 Lyme Street, Old Lyme. The event is free, and open to all. Music and refreshments will be provided.
