Gimme Shelter at Moxie

We are always happy to see the new cocktail and wine menu roll out at Moxie, 52 Wall Street, in Madison. But as dog lovers we were particularly excited this time when we heard about a new concoction called Gimme Shelter. It’s made with Tito’s vodka, raspberry liqueur, lemon juice, and muddled fresh strawberries. Even better, Moxie has partnered with Tito’s Handmade Vodka to raise funds for the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter, 749 East Main Street, Branford. Have one of these drinks and $1 goes to the shelter. The amazing people at the shelter made the news recently when they rescued an emaciated dog just hours from death on a Branford roadside. Three months later, Hope is 70 pounds, happy, and on her way to her new home. Another hard-to-place dog was having a hard time finding his furever home, so the shelter worked with experts in his breed to find him a new home in Florida. Their dedication is unending, but help like this doesn’t come cheap at the shelter, which currently has a full house and is looking for furever homes. Interested in helping?
