Put Down the Boca Burger, We’ve Got a Game Changer

If you’re like me, trying to eat healthy (or even vegetarian) can sometimes leave you coming up short because that spinach salad isn’t all it’s cracked up to be or that black bean burger is tasteless. Luckily, I have found one of the best veggie burgers in Connecticut. The garden burger at Moxie is completely delectable, made with fresh ingredients, and melts in your mouth. This is not your average black bean burger; it is crafted with beets, which is not only innovative but delicious. It is served with your choice of cheese (Gouda is my favorite), fresh tomato, red onion, and the Moxie special sauce which is similar to a creamy pesto. The sweet and savory flavors all complement each other flawlessly without one flavor being too overpowering. This is simply a meal that you can indulge in without feeling guilty; you can even swap out the bun for lettuce if your heart desires.

Moxie is located at 52 Wall Street in Madison.

Craving more munchies? Dinner service has been extended to 10 p.m. on Thursdays, and the bar will be open for burgers, salads, snacks, and drinks at 2 p.m. on Fridays.
