On Saturday, June 3, at noon and 1:30 p.m., Kidz Konnection will provide a 40-minute program of Lion King Kids at the Andrews Memorial Town Hall, 54 East Main Street, Clinton. This program is for the youngster not ready for a full play and is filled with young performers who will sing all the beloved songs of The Lion King in a shortened extravaganza.
Tickets for Lion King Kids are $5 general admission at the door.
Later on June 3, Kidz Konnection’s advanced actors will perform Lion King, Jr. at 5 and 7:30 p.m., which will run for 90 minutes. Tickets are $10 general admission at the door. The 5 p.m. show will feature Aiden Maurais (Clinton) as Mufasa, Ezra van Yperen (Deep River) as Scar, Matthew Law (Branford) as young Simba, and Devin Wilke (Clinton) as old Simba. The 7:30 p.m. show will feature Sam Reed (Clinton) as Mufasa, Alix Giannini (Old Saybrook) as Scar, Brayden Esler (Clinton) as young Simba, and Dylan Ayer (Clinton) as old Simba.
