Café Flo Opens

The Florence Griswold Museum earlier this month just re-opened it’s own café, Café Flo, 96 Lyme Street, Old Lyme. Featuring new American cuisine, it is operated by Gourmet Gallery Catering, and it is located along the Lietenant River at the museum. It’s received some stellar reviews on Facebook, for both the food and the setting. Recent menu items have included a Lobster BLT, Stonington red shrimp cocktail, Atlantic salmon over jasmine rice, Boston creme shortcake, and chilled orange borscht. It’s open Tuesday through Saturday 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Sunday 1 to 3:30 p.m.
