Beartown, a thought-provoking and heart-wrenching story, is definitely my favorite Fredrik Backman novel yet. In a small town where hockey is everything, the junior hockey team is about to play for the National Championship. However, when a tragic event happens, the community is divided by extreme loyalties. This could be any town where sports, politics, and good vs. evil are controversial and dangerous. Beartown begins and ends with a bang, and it’s one of the best books I’ve read in years—seriously!
