Buffalo Burgers, Two Ways

I’ve long been a fan of a good burger with a cup of coffee, and so was intrigued recently when my friend Colleen said she made had a buffalo burger with Ashlawn Farm Coffee. I asked, coffee with the burger?. Yes, she said, and coffee on the burger. She seasoned the burger with ground dried habañeros, garlic, sea salt, and olive oil, and then with ground coffee “squished on top.” She grilled the burgers and served them with organic berries and bananas drizzled with local honey. Other variations she recommends include buffalo burgers with matcha tea and some ginger. I’ll be trying both this summer, once I get my grill ready.
