The Best Mac n' Cheese Place in CT You've Never Heard Of

I don't think there's anything on this planet that I love more than macaroni and cheese. So when a coworker told me about Mac N' Out, a macaroni and cheese restaurant she came across in Milford, I couldn't believe I had never heard of it before, especially since I have spent most of my teen years in that area. I was even more surprised when I learned that my friends who live and hang out in that area had never heard of it either. The restaurant is a relative newcomer to the Milford scene, having opened in July of 2013, but after eating there I couldn't believe that more people haven't heard of this place. You wouldn't expect much by just looking at the outside. Its Milford location is squished between a pawn shop and convenience store/deli (neither of which are particularly charming from the outside), but their name and neon sign with Sausage Party-esque noodle and cheese caricatures were drawing me inside. The menu has every variation of mac that you could possibly imagine. You can get it in a small skillet in a variety of flavors, over a hot dog, inside a sandwich, or even stuffed into spring rolls. I went with the Buffalo Mac (which got a raved review from my coworker) and was not disappointed with my order. It was super creamy, extra cheesy, and the portions are big enough to get you full without leaving you overly stuffed.
