Her Song, the anti-bullying public service announcement musical, will premiere at the Ivoryton Playhouse with public performances on Saturday, May 13, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and Sunday, May 14, at 7 p.m.

The musical will highlight the severity of bullying and its effects on children. It will also educate adults about what to look for in a child who may be affected by bullying. It centers around the experiences of a shy high school student who auditions for the annual talent show. Her audition does not go well, and another student captures it on her cell phone and shares it on social media. The goal of the musical is to help both students and adults recognize these kinds of situations, and to encourage people to be up-standers instead of bystanders.

The show is produced by Jill Nesi, directed by Colin Sheehan, choreograhed by Michelle Natalino, and music is composed by Jill Nesi and Nick Fradiani.
