Schirmeier’s Work Exhibited at Marshview Gallery

The work of Beverly Schirmeier will be exhibited at the Marchview Gallery, 220 Main Street, Old Saybrook, with an opening reception Thursday, April 13 from 5 to 7 p.m. that is open to all. Light refreshments will be served.

Schirmeier holds elected artists memberships in the Guilford Art League, Essex Art Association, and the Madison and Clinton art societies. She is an associate artist of the Lyme Art Association and Connecticut Pastel Society. She is currently the president of the Madison Art Society, where she has served for the past 11 years. Schirmeier has been involved in the arts for more than 40 years. She has a BFA from Wayne State University and after retiring became an alumnus of The Lyme Academy College of Fine Art and has studied painting in workshops with numerous nationally known artists.
