04/06/2017 12:01 AMThe 11th Annual Still Life Invitational at Susan Powell Fine Art, 679 Boston Post Road, Madison will feature 22 award-winning artists. The show runs from Friday, April 7 to Saturday, May 13.
The Still Life Invitational will feature 65 paintings and open with a reception on Friday, April 7, from 5 to 8 p.m., attended by the artists. The reception is free and open to all.
Participating artists are Kathy Anderson, Julie Beck, Peter Bergeron, Stephanie Birdsall, Kelly Birkenruth, Dan Brown, Deborah Chabrian, Ken Davies, Grace M. DeVito, Leslie Duke, Vincent Giarrano, Timothy W. Jahn, Sarah Lamb, Anne McGrory, Michael Naples, Cora Ogden, Larry Preston, Cindy Procious, Deborah Quinn-Munson, Carlo Russo, Claudia Seymour, and Sandra Wakeen.
“This show features artists utilizing classical painting techniques, who burst out of the box to create fresh, varied, and whimsical narratives in a modern style,” says Susan Powell, owner of the gallery.
