Transit is an excellent title for this moving, second novel in a trilogy that began with the book Outline. At face value, the main character is a divorced mother of two boys trying to move on with her life, but it is so much more than that. Through the conversations with the various people in her life, she struggles to move forward through acceptance of the misfortunes that happen to us all. I believe the message the author wants to share is that life is an evolution, and that we are all in transit, and that sometimes we want to be the things that we are not. Easy to read, this book stands on its own, but I do look forward to the next installment.
