03/23/2017 12:01 AMClinton Art Society watercolorist Richard Raicik will have his works on exhibit at Water’s Edge Gallery in Westbrook, 1525 Boston Post Road, Westbrook, from Saturday, April 1 through Wednesday, May 31
Raicik is a self-taught watercolor artist. He is an associate member of the Lyme Art Association, Connecticut Watercolor Society, Middletown Art Guild, Glastonbury Art Guild, New England Watercolor Society, and an elected member of the Essex Art Association and Clinton Art Society.
Raicik has been accepted in many juried art exhibits including the Lyme Art Associaton, Essex Art Association, Clinton Art Society, Guilford Art League, Madison Art Society, Middletown Art Guild, New Britain Museum, New Britain Hospital for Special Care, Southington Art Association, and the CT Watercolor Society.
Raicik has won awards from the Essex Art Association, Clinton Art Society, Middletown Art Guild, New Britain Hospital for Special Care, and Southington Arts.
Raicik credits much of his success to artist Robert Norieka, who “has been an inspiration and always a supporting friend.” The Water’s Edge Gallery is accessible off the resort’s main lobby and is open daily to the public. More information is available at www.clintonartsociety.info.
