Dusk at the Wharf

Lindsay Braun, our senior multimedia specialist, told me recently that The Wharf at Madison Beach Hotel, 94 West Wharf Road in Madison, has a whole list of specialty winter cocktails including a Pom Rosemary Mule, an Acai Spritzer, Cocktail Bliss, and more. One of our favorites is the Dusk at the Wharf, which includes Hella bitters and is topped off with a luxe Luxardo juice float. Get there soon if you want to try it, they’ll be switching over to their specialty spring and summer cocktail menu sometime in mid-April. Another great reason to check it out? You can hang with the always-cheerful Lindsay, who moonlights on the weekends as a bartender at The Wharf. If you miss it or want to try it at home, here’s the recipe:

Dusk at the Wharf

• 2.5 oz 1800 Reposado tequila

• .5oz Grapefruit juice

• .5oz orange juice

• .5oz pineapple juice

• .25oz agave

• Heavy dash “Hella Bitters”

• Luxardo juice Float (sink)

Shake over ice strain into martini glass with Luxardo juice around rim, and garnish with spiked Luxardo cherry.
