02/22/2017 11:01 PMFire in the Kitchen Concerts will host The Brooklyn All-Star Ceilidh Band on Saturday, March 4, at 7 p.m., at the North Madison Congregational Church, 1271 Durham Road, Madison.
“If you take five of the top Irish session and classical/jazz musicians living in Brooklyn, many of whom tour internationally, and let them come up with their idea of a St. Patrick’s/Mardi Gras concert, this is what you get,” says Charlie Shafer of Fire in the Kitchen. “Spanning styles from straight Irish traditional, classic St Patrick’s Day songs, jazz, and some tunes you might hear in a New Orleans nightclub, it will be a night of tremendous variety, unmatched skills, and musical excitement. These musicians come to play.”
Tickets are, for adults, $20, kids (high school age and under) $5.
