Reversing the Curse in Clinton

When the owners of DeNovellis in Rocky Hill, an established and well regarded restaurant in Rocky Hill, announced they would take over the space at 192 East Main Street in Clinton, everyone wished them the best. This, after all, was the place where more than half a dozen restaurants closed over the last 20 years. So far, however, it sounds like all is going well. Lisa Reino-Thomas of Madison says she enjoyed her visit there, which included happy hour at the bar, followed by macaroni dishes for dinner, and creme brûlée for dessert. Nikki Heery, also from Madison, has been about three times and says it’s great, and she also recommends the creme brûlée for dessert. Lisa Haller Martin, who lives in Old Saybrook and works here at Shore Publishing, says she loved the veal marsala when she went for a visit.
