The fourth annual 2017 CT Coast & Country Winter Wine Trail will run through Sunday, April 2.

Three Connecticut Wineries are participating in this winter wine trail, Bishop’s Orchards Farm Market & Winery in Guilford and Paradise Hills Vineyard & Winery and Gouveia Vineyards, both in Wallingford. The 2017 Connecticut Coast & Country Winter Wine Trail will feature grand prizes from sponsors near the wineries. Prizes will include spa packages, resort and hotel stays, wine packages, and gift certificates to local restaurants. For the duration of the wine trail, participants will receive a 20 percent discount on two entrées at Ballou’s Wine Bar in Guilford (excludes wine and holidays).

Connecticut agricultural tourism during the winter tends to slow. This Winter Wine Trail intends to provide people with an incentive to stay local, eat and drink, and have fun while supporting local farms and businesses. Passports for the 2017 Connecticut Coast & Country Winter Wine Trail may be picked up at any of the participating wineries. The Winter Wine Trail encourages participants to visit each one of these wineries between the dates of the program and get their “passport” stamped at each location. Participants who visit all three of the Wineries and Vineyards and get their card stamped will be eligible for more than $4,500 in prizes with multiple prize packages.

Passports must be submitted to one of the three wineries and vineyards by April 2. There is no purchase necessary to receive a passport or get it stamped. The hours for participating wineries and vineyards may be found at their individual websites.
