05/26/2016 12:01 AMThe Shoreline ArtsTrail announces its five new member artists, including Laura Barr of Stony Creek, Lisa DeFilippo of Branford, Robert Morris of Guilford, Chris Penry of Guilford, and Pamela Welch of Branford, and four returning artists, including Ray Matthews, Potter Linda Westgard, Hannah Baldwin, and Maureen Wilkinson. The group consists of approximately 40 member artists who live and work in Branford, Guilford, and Madison.
The Arts Trail is an annual tradition that began in 2001. Each year, local artists with media such as pottery, stained and fused glass, painting, jewelry, sculpture, weaving, prints, photography, textiles, quilts, paper, and wood work together to present a two-day Open Studios event in November.
