Joey Brenneman, a New York City playwright, will come to Clinton in cooperation with the Kidz Konnection’s professional acting company, Shoreline Actors Collective, on Saturday, April 9 at 7 p.m., at the Kidz Konnection Theater Studio, 16 West Main Street in Clinton, for a special free viewing of her latest work. The original play will be performed as a staged reading in a cabaret-style venue with light refreshments provided by the host company.

Brenneman’s story focuses on seven people mingling through a past, present, and future together and separately as they learn lessons about love, loss, and human connection.

The staged reading will offer a question and answer discussion afterwards. Local Connecticut actors will join professional actor Craig Waletzko, whose credits include Kinky Boots (national tour), Guys and Dolls (on Broadway), Monty Python’s Spamalot (national tour), and Cats (Broadway).
