Registration Open for Winter Semester at Guilford Art Center

Registration is open for Winter 2016 classes at Guilford Art Center.

The new semester begins Monday, Jan. 11 and runs through March 4.

Classes and workshops are available for children, teens, and adults in blacksmithing, ceramics, drawing, fiber, glass, metals, painting, photography, sculpture, weaving, and more.

New or seasonally-offered classes include an animation workshop and expressive clay concepts for teens/tweens. Children’s classes/workshops are offered after school and on weekends, and include a new metalsmithing class and an American Girl Valentine’s Tea. New or seasonally-offered classes for adults include stained glass for beginners, felted silk inlaid scarves, fly tying, digital photography, and a clay whistle workshop.

Financial aid is available; the deadline is Monday, Jan. 4. Awards are based on need and interest and are most often partial scholarships, to enable as many students as possible to participate.
