Wicked’s Eden Espinosa to Headline Benefit for Branford’s Legacy Theatre

Eden Espinosa, star of Broadway’s Wicked, Rent, and Brooklyn, will headline Eden Espinosa and Friends, a concert to benefit Legacy Theatre on Thursday, July 16 at 7 p.m. The concert will take place at the Owenego Inn & Beach Club, located at 40 Linden Avenue in Branford.

Following the smash success of last year’s sold-out Witness Uganda: In Concert, the performance will be hosted by Jonathan Larson Award-winning composer Matt Gould and feature a cast of Broadway stars. Admission is a pay what you can contribution to the Legacy Theatre. Tickets may be reserved at www.buildinglegacytheatre.com.

Legacy Theatre partners with Tony Award-winning producers Greg Nobile and Jana Shea of Seaview Productions (A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Gypsy, Side Show) to sponsor the performance. Eden Espinosa and Friends is presented as part of Legacy Theatre’s “Building Legacy, Building Community” summer-long initiative to restore the historic Stony Creek Puppet House in Branford into a state-of the-art theatrical facility, with theater education for all ages and regular professional performances.

Seaview Productions, led by Branford residents Nobile and Shea, is a Tony Award-winning Broadway and West End production company with a mission of redefining onstage storytelling through strategic innovation in creative development, audience experience, consumer engagement, and investment management.
