The sixth annual Beacon Awards were held on Oct. 3, 2018 at Water's Edge Resort and Spa in Westbrook. The ceremony honored 15 exceptional individuals from the shoreline. The honorees were Elizabeth Abernathy, Judith Barron, Nelson Bernabucci, Emi Bisson, Melissa Carney, Gerri Giordano, Jean Kelly, Tom Lindner, Catherine Mathis, Tobie Meisel, Ed Pellegrino, Wayne Sandford, John Saville, Carol Stewart, and June Vigliotto.
