The future bride is the granddaughter of Frank Proto, the late Rosemarie Proto, Ralph Cifarelli, and the late Elinor Cifarelli. The future groom is the grandson of Alexander Ferraro and the late Anna Ferraro and the late Sebastian and Barbara Marcell.
The future bride earned an associate’s degree in early childhood education from Gateway Community College. She is employed by the East Haven Public Schools.
The future groom earned a B.S. in biomedical engineering from Boston University. He is employed by Coviden of North Haven.
An Aug. 9 wedding is planned.
