The Exchange Club of Madison has honored Emily Viloudaki, daughter of Elizabeth Viloudaki and granddaughter of Thomas Flanagan, with the David Bell Scholarship Award for its February 2013 Youth of the Month. The Daniel Hand High School (DHHS) senior was nominated by the DHHS faculty and completed a competitive application process. David Bell, chairman of both Youth of the Month and Youth of the Year Programs, presented Viloudaki with a $200 award and a commemorative Exchange Club plaque.

Viloudaki is a high honors student, member of the National Honor Society, treasurer of the DHHS Student Council, president of the DHHS Vibe Show Choir Band, and member of the Student Leadership Team, Shoreline Youth Symphony Orchestra, DHHS Leo Club, and junior varsity field hockey Team. She is also a counselor for the Milton Jeffrey Elementary Afterschool Program and conductor's assistant of the Whiz Kids Youth Orchestra. In addition, she was the Most Valuable Player of the DHHS Vibe Show Choir in 2011, as well as earning High Achievement awards in physical fitness and self-defense. Viloudaki is considering options for her college education at WPI, Northeastern, Wentworth, Amherst, or Manhattan, at which she plans to major in engineering.
