Workforce Alliance prepares to open American Job Centers by appointment only starting July 15


American Job Centers in New Haven, Meriden, Middletown will reopen for in-person appointments as needed beginning Wednesday, July 15. Phone and video conferencing contacts, plus online workshops, orientations, skills training and job postings will continue on the website. Newly unemployed or underemployed job seekers are encouraged to visit to complete orientation, then check your email for next steps leading to free 1-on-1 career planning, job training job development and support services. Existing American Job Center customers should contact their Job Seeker Consultant for scheduling. Walk-in help with a CT Department of Labor Unemployment Insurance (UI) Benefits Specialist in Hamden and other American Job Center locations is not yet available.
