Red Dog Project volunteer Christine Adanti introduces Tiffany Adanti and Mia and Hunter Sylvia to Violet the puppy. The meeting was one of dozens at the Red Dog/Dog Days Adoption event at the Old Saybrook Tractor Supply on Jan. 17. The Red Dog Project gives inmates at the York Correctional Facility the chance to train and rehabilitate shelter dogs to give them a better chance at being adopted.
