Pierson Open House Celebrates 87th, and Final, Year
Generations of Clinton residents took part in the Pierson Community Day Celebration May 4 to mark 87 years of educating children—and to mark the closure of the iconic school, which was open for tours.

Pierson Community Day Celebration was held on Saturday to mark the 87 years of educating children. The school was open for tours, with food trucks and music in the gazebo. Pierson School Principal Mrs. Debra Murray and 4th grade teacher Mrs. Kristen Yahwak welcome visitors and volunteers, as well as Cora Deming and Jack Henry Palazzo student volunteers greet visitors at the entrance of the school.
