Let's Make a scene: Special Effects of theater. August 2nd and 9th, 3-6pm. This workshop will give you a behind the scene look at how the magic of theater is made. You will get familiar with all of the terminology and learn to use the equipment used by the crew and technical directors. Each participant will have the opportunity to create a scene from a theatrical performance with lighting, sound, special effects and sets. Learn how to create a storm on the stage, make a dragon breath fire or maybe you would rather set the stage for an Ogre in a foggy swamp or creepy forest. All of these scenes come to life with the help of technology and your imagination. The students, staff, and instructors will be following state and local guidelines for staying healthy during this time. Any questions: Madisonartsbarn@gmail.com or 203-245-2689 Go to Madisonartsbarn.org to see more of our great programs!!
