Spectrum Gallery and Artisans Store of Centerbrook presents its newest show: LOL Laugh Out Loud (Mar 29-May 19) with new and original artwork from artists and fine artisans that will make us laugh and show the humorous aspects of life. The exhibit opens Friday, March 29 (6:30-9pm) and includes wine and refreshments. Artists from throughout Connecticut, New York and New England are presenting their representational and abstract paintings, photographs, and a variety of original mixed media pieces. In addition, fine work by new and favorite Spectrum artisans will be offered in the Store such as pottery, ceramics, fabric, wood, paper, jewelry and more. Spectrum Gallery, at 61 Main St., Centerbrook, is open Wednesday to Saturday (12-6pm) and Sunday (12-5pm). Spectrum is an expansion of the non-profit arts organization Arts Center Killingworth which offers classes, workshops, camps and whose mission is to provide opportunities for emerging and established artists to develop, display and sell their work.
