Christine Goupil is ready to serve. While listening to her talk with voters, I have been struck by the easy familiarity she has with all of the processes and procedures needed to get things done. Grant writing? She’s done that. Disentangling a thorny, going-nowhere development project, then securing a new, top-notch developer who’s now breaking ground? We have Christine to thank for that. Ditto the long-promised, brand new train station.
Professionally, she’s been Clinton’s first selectman and a project manager with a diverse résumé. She is currently on Clinton’s Town Council and is actively involved in many regional boards and commissions that have an impact on shoreline towns. She knows the towns of the 35th District inside and out.
If your readers are looking for a 35th District state representative candidate who’ll have an extremely short learning curve, then I encourage them to vote for Christine Goupil on Nov. 3.
