I am grateful to the many volunteers who serve on our boards, commissions, and the Representative Town Meeting (RTM). Their dedication to our town benefits all of us. Many are accomplished in their professions and bring their expertise to the decision-making process while others bring their passion.
Every two years, we have the opportunity to vote and elect 30 people to the RTM, a select number of seats assigned to each of the districts in town. Electing Alisa Waterman to represent the 1st District will benefit all Branford residents as she will bring her perspective as a business owner of one of our town’s thriving biotech companies.
Alisa has succeeded in her profession because of her drive, competence, and positive approach to solving problems as a member of a team. Alisa, who now serves on the Economic Development Commission, is committed to finding businesses for our empty commercial properties.
I encourage your readers to join me in voting for Alisa Waterman on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
