You know you’re old when you start to say things like “Back in my day it wasn’t this expensive!” If the first thought that came to your mind when you read that was how expensive going to the movies has gotten, you’re in luck. The Kate in Old Saybrook is hosting movie screenings on Monday nights this summer. Get all the nostalgic feels on Monday, July 22 for a screening of E.T. at 7 p.m. Admission is $8 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center (The Kate) is located at 300 Main Street in Old Saybrook. For more information, visit
