Chester Historical Society Celebrates 50 with Picnic and Music
Press release from the Chester Historical Society

On Friday, June 21, the Chester Historical Society is hosting the Moving Target Band on the Town Green in Chester (or inside the Chester Meeting House if it rains) at 6 p.m., following the society’s annual meeting. The Ivoryton-based band plays music from the 1930s to today with tunes ranging from Cole Porter to The Beatles. Attendess may bring a potluck dish to share, along with chairs or picnic blanket. There will also be a big sheet cake in celebration of the historical society’s 50th anniversary year.
