Do you ever watch professional athletes and think, 'if only I had practiced more, maybe that could've been me' or 'if only there was a program to help me advance when I was young?' While only a fraction of student athletes elevate to professional, we think everyone should have a chance to tap into their full potential.
Madison Hoop Dreams Basketball Camp is for students entering grades three to ten. Second graders, who can shoot at a ten foot hoop and play with 3rd and 4th graders, are also welcome. Camp is from 9 AM to 3 PM each day. With two full time Supervisors, a full time trainer, a video specialist for shooting instruction, two coaches for every team with up to ten campers, and special guest speakers, our program draws campers from over 20 area towns. With daily ball handling drills, contests, instruction, and two full games, campers leave exhilarated and exhausted --- anxious to return the next day!
This could be the best summer for Madison Hoop Dreams in 23 years. Our staff is exceptional and our guest speakers will motivate and inspire our campers to work hard and develop their skills to get more enjoyment from this great game. You can choose from seven weeks.
For families who are curious about why we have been the most popular basketball day camp in CT for over 20 years, I suggest that you register to find that answer. We will not disappoint. Every camper is given individual and small group instruction and we use video instruction to help each player improve on their shooting form. Every camper leaves camp each day with excitement and motivation to return the next morning. If that is ever a problem, I expect the parents to call me with information that will help us make the next day a special experience for their child. It's called "Teamwork"!
