The Rotary Club of Branford wrapped up its philanthropic activities in 2015 by conducting its annual ringing of the bells and supervision of the Salvation Army’s traditional red collection kettles at locations near Branford merchants. In turn, the Salvation Army forwarded the money it raised to social services at the Branford Counseling Center.
The Branford Rotary Club meets weekly on Wednesdays from 7:15 to 8:30 a.m. at the Parthenon Diner, 374 East Main Street, Branford. For more information, call President James Carpenter at 203-481-2032 or visit www.branfordrotary.org.
