Deep River Police Incident Report for Aug. 12 to 17
Wednesday, Aug. 12
• A 35 year-old man of Main Street was arrested at 5:31 p.m. and charged with violation of a protective order.
Thursday, Aug. 13
No arrests were made.
• A 36 year-old Westbrook woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 4:55 a.m. for evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident) ad failure to drive upon the right after she lost control of the 2011 Toyota Rav4 she was operating and struck a metal beam guardrail. No injuries were reported at the scene as a result of the crash.

• A bank robbery was reported at 3:53 p.m. at Liberty Bank located at 151 Main Street (Route 154). The suspect was described at a white male, mid 30's, no facial hair. He was wearing tan pants, a light-colored tee shirt, and a tan baseball cap. He fled on foot. The Connecticut Bankers Association is offering up to $1,000 for information leading to apprehension.
