The Guilford boys' ice hockey team traveled to Bennett Rink in West Haven on Jan. 31 and took a 3-2 loss to Amity to move to 3-6 on the year.
Down 1-0 after a period, the Indians grabbed two second period goals from Ryan Brand (at 4:33, unassisted) and Rick Sandella (at 9:27, from Matt Clifford), yet the Spartans scored the eventual game-winner in that middle frame. Guilford outshot Amity 27-20 with Kyle Dwyer stopping 17 pucks.
