Mr. and Mrs. Roger Zito of Old Lyme announce the marriage of their daughter, Caroline Anne, to Daniel Schildt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Schildt of Waterford. The couple exchanged vows Aug. 6, 2011 at Christ the King Church in Old Lyme. The Pastor was Monsignor Thomas R. Bride. A reception followed at the Mystic Yachting Center, Mystic.

Caroline, a graduate of Old Lyme High School and James Madison University with a bachelor's in English, works for LogicSource in human resources.

Daniel, a graduate of Waterford High School, the Massachusetts Maritime Academy with a bachelor's in international maritime business, and Fairfield University with a master's in finance, works in the shipping industry in dry cargo chartering for MT Maritime Management.

The couple honeymooned in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
